Wing’s Neck Lighthouse
An incredible intimate wedding venue option for those Cape Cod lovers that want something a little different from the yacht/country club venues. Seriously who doesn’t want to spend their wedding weekend in a lighthouse together? An off the beaten path option (literally) is Wing’s Neck. It’s easy to get to as it’s just over the Bourne Bridge. You can have up to 40 guests to celebrate overlooking the ocean. I’d say a clear top tent here is a must!
The quaint feel of this option will have you and your guests feeling major New England coastal coziness. The Quonset Hut at Moore House have wonderful all inclusive packages for intimate weddings up to 40 guests, and even beautifully decorated overnight accommodations too!
This blank slate venue has one of few industrial style spaces in the Boston area. Call up a food truck, hang some bistro lights, and crank the music. You’ll have a fun and low key wedding celebration here. Warehouse XI has a great preferred vendor list to work from, or bring in your own talented team! This is definitely one of the top intimate wedding venues in New England.
Nestled in the destination town of York, Scotland Fields is an amazing choice for couples that are looking for an updated rustic barn vibe. Getting married overlooking the marsh, having cocktail hour on the open terrace, and dancing the night away in the barn. Truly a magical place to have your dream wedding. Their preferred vendors are all wonderful, and they even provide a farmhouse for up to 24 guests to stay throughout the celebration.
Autocamp Cape Cod
The breathtaking view alone should be a reason you check out this venue. A truly perfect spot for those wanting mountain scapes. Lamb’s Hill specializes in intimate weddings up to 50 guests, and a variety of different spaces to use during the day. The lush garden is one of my favorites!
The Inn at Hastings Park
A hidden gem just outside of Boston that offers just as much charm as it does history. Their outdoor bistro garden comes to life with patio lights and plants, their culinary team will blow you away, and you’ll have a beautiful spot to spend the weekend with your loved ones on site. There are several photo spots in the area too! Sometimes a quaint intimate wedding venue is just what you need!
Imagine yourself amongst the woods of this cozy cabin while a snow flurry surrounds you saying “I do!” You can spend the weekend with up to 28 guests, play lawn games, and enjoy a delicious family style meal under the stars. Woodhouse Lodge is the perfect cozy venue for outdoorsy and adventurous couples.
A local favorite for the Boston restaurant & wedding scene, SRV Boston is a fantastic wedding venue for food lovers. You’ll have the option of several hotels in the area to get ready at, then have a ceremony out on the balcony and dinner & drinks to keep it simple. The sweet spot for here is ~45 guests for a seated dinner but you can push it slightly if you want something more causal cocktail style.
Another great Cape Cod option for the couple that wants something a little more backyard DIY style. Overbrook House also has a small dance hall for the chilly summer nights, or opt for a tent on the lawn. Just picture a fun clambake outdoors with your nearest and dearest, keeping it laid back and fun.
Want to have a “not your average” wedding? Come on down to Bayside Bowl. Whether you want to have a rooftop extravaganza or go compete on the lanes, this is a really funky spot for out of the box couples & weddings!
