Nick and I had the backyard (well, front yard) wedding of our dreams – a perfect location on Cape Cod, delicious pizza, and 15 of our closest loved ones present to celebrate together.

All of the obstacles that we faced while planning, brought us to a day filled of love and intent. We realized that there’s never going to be a “right time” in the future, especially with COVID. We love each other, and just wanted to be freakin’ married already! So we made it happen in just over a month. All of our guests got tested prior so we could have peace of mind and enjoy a whole weekend of games and celebration together.

If you guys know how many days we spent trying to figure out that dang tablescape, you’d probably think we were nuts. Even until the morning of our wedding I was still so indecisive – and to many, table details might seem so insignificant, but to me it was one of my favorite things from that day! Our vendors brought the vision to life, and I loved how all of the colors complemented each other throughout. I created the welcome sign, let’s eat sign, and drink sign online and printed on a thick foam board through Prints of Love – another favorite little detail from the day! Nick, his buddies, and my dad strung up all the lights around the patio creating a magical ambience for our dinner al fresco!

My older brother, Doug, married us. There was truly nothing like having one of your best friends of 25 years of your life officially declare us HUSBAND & WIFE!! The rest of the night came with a lot of laughs during my dad’s wonderful “presentation” I’ll call it. You’ll want to see the stand out photo from that section down below 🙂 We played card games all night long, ate leftover pizza until midnight, and honestly just got to enjoy the day with our best friends and biggest life supporters. What more could you ask for?
