A beautiful late summer wedding day came to life at the Chequessett Club for Kelsey and Connor. Their beachy boho yet classy style came to life as they spent the afternoon with family and friends celebrating in the sand at this unique Cape Cod wedding venue. Kelsey didn’t even wear shoes all day long, she just ran around barefoot without a worry in the world – true #bridegoals. The real hero of the day, Kayla from Madden Made Events (and her lovely husband/team duo, Greg) pulled together all of the details effortlessly. From creating a cohesive design with custom signage, a perfect color scheme of soft neutrals and pops of terracotta, to setting up the lounge and tent details, and all the behind the scenes, it was an honor to work alongside of her knowing she was holding down the fort. I also loved that they didn’t have a designated wedding party – just their best friends to all hang together and celebrate without the production of it all. It truly helped the day’s focus stay on just Kelsey and Connor but in a very chill way.

Kelsey and Connor met and starting dated at Immaculate High School in Danbury. They spent years vacationing on the Cape together and have now created their dream life there! He proposed to her during sunset at the top of the stairs at the beach she grew up on (where you see the girls all piled up below!) And if they couldn’t get any cuter together, they also have two rescue dogs – Olive and Oakley. What a squad! Congrats to the two of you, Kelsey & Connor!!
