Nicole and Francesca had their beach elopement at a beautiful spot on Cape Cod in August (one of the best times to get married at the beach in the summer IMO!). In her initial inquiry to me, Nicole said “we just want to run around taking cool candid pictures to last us a lifetime” and I was SOLD. Immediately I knew they were going to be so cool and fun to hang out with.
We started the beginning of their elopement at AutoCamp Cape Cod where they got ready, and it was such a fun little spot! I’ve shot another elopement at AutoCamp before, and love the space for something low key like what they had. After they finished getting ready, we set off for Sandy Neck Beach in Sandwich. Nicole and Francesca mentioned they didn’t want their elopement to be directly on the beach/ocean, so I thought this was the perfect spot! I love that this spot has the dunes to explore, and it gives a bit more variety than your typical beach.
We planned for their vows to be right at the start of golden hour (an hour before sunset) and I mean, look at that glow! It was such an incredible night. After they said quick vows and exchanged their rings, we just ran around the sand for a bit taking their portraits. Nicole and Francesca were so sweet with one another and had such a strong bond it was impossible not to fall in love with them! I absolutely loved being able to spend the evening with the two of them and photograph their Cape Cod beach elopement.
