What’s a summertime wedding on Cape Cod without a clambake?! (and obviously raw bar at cocktail hour!) Avery & Chris held their coastal wedding at the Osterville Historical Museum, an unassuming venue tucked away, perfect for the couple that wants to get married on the Cape without being directly on the water. I was honored to work alongside a few of my favorite vendors during the day, All Aboard Event Planning (and guys, when I say hire this team I MEAN IT!) and Miranda Lynn Hair & Beauty (seriously people probably think I’m paid to sponsor her, but she is just truly the queen of the industry).
Avery & Chris have one of my absolute favorite love stories of all time. They met in October 2017 at the Highlands Tap and Burger Wednesday night run club in Denver, CO. What started as something fun to do on a weeknight and a good way to get some exercise (the free beer didn’t hurt) turned into the start of their love story. A Friendsgiving and Soup Party later, they knew they’d found their person (clearly the way to Chris’ heart runs through his stomach, and Avery had him from the jump).
After their short and sweet ceremony, Avery & Chris popped around cocktail hour to mingle with guests. They were welcomed into their reception with open arms, and laughed for 20 minutes straight at all of their toasts. Once the speeches wrapped up, we took off down the road for sunset photos on the beach. Not a worry in the world, Avery kicked off her heels and ran around the sand, hand in hand with her husband and wind blowing from every direction. It was truly the most perfect summertime Cape Cod wedding day! Sending huge hugs to these two, and Mav, congrats you guys!
