If you have ever questioned whether or not to have an Amalfi Coast wedding – this is your sign to DO IT! Everything about this location was like a dream, and a destination wedding creates one of the most memorable “wow factor” experiences. For Sidney and Joe, travel has always been a priority. So it was a no brainer that when they got engaged, they’d be planning a destination wedding. The two brought their closest friends and family out to Italy for the week in June to celebrate their Positano wedding! The original plan was to have the wedding at Hotel Marincanto, but their wedding planner offered something a little bit different and they jumped on the once in a lifetime opportunity! They started the wedding festivities with a beautiful welcome dinner at La Tagliatelle – a restaurant at the very top of Positano with some of the best food in the entire world! The following morning, we took a bus out to Scala to get ready for the wedding day, where the ceremony was held at Basilica di Sant’Eustachio, which dates back to the 8th century!! It was a looong walk down to the site, but so worth it.

After they made it official, we took a private sunset boat cruise from Amalfi over to the reception venue where their guests were waiting to greet them! The driver of the boat took us into a cave, and around the harbor for some alone time before beginning the dinner reception at Torre Normanna. Dinner was *incredible* but that’s no surprise, and then the gang partied the night away for hours in a cave until about 3am!!

This was truly the most wonderful week of my existence, and I felt like family after spending days with every one of their guests.
