A classic summer engagement session on Cape Cod always brings me the warm and fuzzies. This particular beach is a fan favorite for the beautiful sunsets and calm waters. Old Silver Beach in Falmouth is home to many of my sessions and for good reason. There’s always a section of the beach that’s available (although this night was the busiest I’ve ever seen it that late!) but I also love that there’s variety. The lush hill on one end, the wide open ocean in front of you, and the grassy dunes behind you. There’s so much to love at this spot, and I always recommend it for my friends looking for a beach location!

Leah and Drew are some of my best friends, and each time I get to photograph in different seasons of life reminds me why this job of capturing love is so important. Things change, years fly by, and before you know it you forget to slow down and take a breath with your loved one. Even if you show up to your session calling your boyfriend a gremlin (lol), that love between you remains and the photos to show it are priceless.

I think they looked so cute and summery together, perfectly matched in Drew’s soft blue linen shirt and beach shorts, and Leah’s floral blue dress from Abercrombie (a hit!).
