Recently engaged and trying to figure out where to take your engagement photos in Massachusetts?! AMAZING. There are sooo many places to choose from it might be tough to narrow it down. Whether you want something beachy, urbany, classic, I got you covered.
With all of my engagement sessions, I send you a prep guide that runs through outfit inspo, a ton of my favorite spots around the area, and tips to rock it! Whether you want to go somewhere that hold significance in your relationship (like where you got engaged), or adventure somewhere new, I’m always down to capture your love. Here are some of my favorite locations in Massachusetts to take your engagement photos!
I’m a huge fan of the lesser-known Boston spots, and this rooftop garage is one of my all time favorites. It’s great for couples that want an urban vibe without the crowds! Check out the full gallery of this session too.
A new addition to the Cape, AutoCamp is a fun alternative for the laid back couple that wants the ultimate date night and excuse for a staycation. I love photographing at AutoCamp (I’ve been here several times) and always enjoy the different activities (campfires, bike riding, etc.).
A fall favorite, there’s so much space in Borderland for a variety of photos. I love the fall colors from the trees here, and how the stone gives off a little extra warmth. This is a great place for couples looking for a classic or woodsy place, or both! And FYI there is a $5 parking fee (unless you have a state park pass!)
County fairs are the most fun date night for your summer engagement session! It’s perfect for the couple that wants activities and things to do to be photographed naturally – but also have a blast together. Think rides, funnel cakes, carny games, and more!
The aesthetic of Beacon Hill is so cute. For those that want something a little different than the usual Public Gardens, head over to Beacon Hill instead. There’s so many hidden spots to pop in and out of. I love the cobblestone walkways, brownstone buildings, and even apartment rooftops if you have an in!
One of my favorite spots for a city-esque vibe without being in the actual city (and bonus for having some of the best golden lighting). You get Boston city backdrop views without & a beautiful clean and modern aesthetic!
Another Falmouth hotspot, Nobska Beach is gorgeous at sunset. I love the option to hang on the beach, or head up to Nobska lighthouse too. When you’re done with your session, pop over to Woods Hole for dinner and drinks! Water Street Kitchen is amazing!
There are a lot of dunes around the P-Town area, and this one in Truro is one of my favorites. It’s a beautiful little walk up to the top, and the view is magical. The deep greens of the dune grass is stunning. And there’s even a beach at the way bottom for cliff sunset vibes too, but I really prefer overcast here!
