Ever wonder what happens when you mix a Cape Cod backyard wedding with Italian vibes? You get this stunning wedding day below! Okay hang tight because there’s a lot of beauty and goodness in this post.
These two met in preschool – yep PRESCHOOL. That is just wild. Many years later they reconnected and started their relationship, where they now have two kitties and an adorable doggo. They currently work at their family restaurant in Provincetown – Ciro & Sal’s – where Caleb is the head chef and Shelby works on the floor. If you’re in the area, you must stop in, tell them how gosh dang BEAUTIFUL their wedding was, and eat some amazing Italian food!!
Shelby & Caleb were supposed to have a wedding in Italy, but with the pandemic, they transformed her mom’s backyard into a beautiful Italian inspired Cape Cod wedding in the fall. I love the color scheme they went with – it was perfectly neutral with that little pop of terracotta. Shelby’s dress was just gorgeous on her and complimented Caleb’s beige suit so well! I absolutely loved their first look on the beach – which you would never know was misty and so cold! But they braved it like champs.
After a short and sweet ceremony, we took a few extra couples portraits and *chefs kiss* Also, what Cape Cod wedding wouldn’t be complete without a raw bar?! These guys did a great job hand shucking all the oysters for guests (and myself of course). I simply cannot turn down a good raw bar! Even though it was a cool October afternoon, Shelby and Caleb did an amazing job at creating a truly unique wedding with Cape style, without it being over the top “Cape” if you know what I mean.
Here’s the amazing vendor team that brought this wedding to life!
